About Angie

Angie believes the strongest communities are anchored in a spirit of collaboration - she's not a 'one person' show - she involves others. She is positioned to work with City Council to bring improvements to District #1.  A lifelong resident of Darlington, she cares very much about her community and its future.   She is a lifelong member of First Baptist Church where she's been very active in various Children's Ministry roles (since 1993), Church Council, Nominating Committee and Public Relations.  She is a former member of the Pilot Club of Darlington and Darlington Professional Women (President and Vice-President).  Angie has many years of marketing, communications, and customer relations experience through her tenure with Fleet Mortgage Group, Diamond Hill Plywood Co., and Domtar Paper Co. She made a career change to banking in 2022 and is Assistant Vice President and Marketing Officer for Dedicated Community Bank located right off the square downtown.  She's also focused on business development through consumer and commercial lending. In addition, Angie has been a licensed realtor since 2000 and works on a team at Burt Jordan Realtors along with her husband, Ken.  She is a 2022 participant of Dancing with the Stars, a benefit for the Pee Dee Coalition, and was in the Top 3.  Angie and her husband have one son, Stone, and his wife, Aubrey.
